The coast
Natural sea pools, beach clubs on the water and a summer that runs long into the night. This is the stretch of coast that made Batroun a name.
For a few months a year the whole country seems to point north to this coast. Rock pools by day, beach clubs at golden hour, and a night that does not really end until the sun comes back up over the harbour.

Batroun's shoreline is a run of natural rock pools held back by that ancient sea wall. Warm, clear and calm on the inside, open Mediterranean just beyond it. You can grab a lounger, or swim straight off the rocks.

This is the coast's real signature. Pierre & Friends has drawn crowds to the water since 2000, Colonel serves its own beer with your feet in the sea, and White Beach and the rest run all summer. Sun, salt and sound.

When the sun drops the beach clubs turn into something else. Sunset selectors, a slow build, and a crowd that came to stay. It is the reputation that fills the coast every summer, and the reason the festivals found a home here.

See the town the way the Phoenicians did, from the sea: a sunset cruise out past the harbour, a swim stop off the boat, or a dive along a coastline with three thousand years of history under the surface.
